Decades of experience. Thousands of shows. One vision.
About JONATHAN
I’m a live concert Video Director with more than two decades of experience directing cameras, screens, and visual storytelling for major touring artists, concerts, festivals, and special events.
My work has taken me from Madison Square Garden, Fenway Park, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and the Hollywood Bowl to arenas, stadiums, theaters, and festivals around the world. Recent work includes Zac Brown Band, Dave Chappelle, and Matt Rife, building on a career directing live video for artists including Justin Timberlake, John Mayer, Carlos Santana, Dead & Company, Snoop Dogg, Robert Plant, and many more.
I approach live video as more than conventional IMAG. Cameras, screens, lighting, content, and the performance itself are all part of the same visual language. My job is to translate what’s happening onstage into an experience that feels intentional, musical, and alive — whether that means a single perfectly timed camera cut or choreographing multiple independent compositions across an entire screen environment.
That approach combines instinctive live direction with deep technical fluency in multi-ME switching, screen choreography, real-time visual programming, and complex broadcast systems. The technology matters, but it should ultimately disappear. The audience should feel the show, not the machinery behind it.
